Brief History

Through public demand In 2009 we decided to invest in the latest firewood processing equipment, as we potentially saw a hole in the market to offer quality dry logs to the consumer.

Through market research we were told that, 'too much wet unseasoned wood was being offered by other competitors'.

Primarily a Landscaping company we can guarantee a quality product, as we do not rely on logs as our main source of income.

Over the last year our firewood database has amazed our expectations and we are pleased that our products are in very high demand.

SO WHY USE US?

1. We work closely with woodland managers and local estates to guarantee that all logs are sourced within a forty mile radius of our yard therefore reducing CARBON miles.

2. We guarantee all of our timber is from 100% sustainable FSC English Woodlands (some of our competitors import from European sites).

3. We offer quality seasoned Beech and Ash logs (unless specified) split to approx 25cm in length (please note some of our competitors specify Beech and Ash but upon closer inspection they are actually offering cheaper alternatives with lower btu wood mixed in). 

4. All of our wood is constantly monitored with moisture reading devices, with no wood leaving the yard above 22% moisture content (unless specified).

5. Our logs are very well seasoned and high in Btu's (British thermal units is the measurement of heat produced from timber).

6. All of our logs are delivered loosely and not off loaded 'Roadside'. We can tip very close to where the logs are to be stacked.

7. We offer full cubic meter sizes, don't be fooled by people offering you cheaper rates, but you only receive 0.75m3.

8. All firewood is suitable for Open Log Fires, Wood burners and Fire Pits.

9. We offer quality low m/c Kindling neatly packed in small bags (for ease in starting fires).

10. We offer a complete stacking service starting from £10.00.

11. Bespoke Log stores available.

12. Free delivery within 10 mile radius of SN7(Goosey, nr Faringdon) and OX13 (Garford, nr Abingdon), otherwise a small delivery cost will be incurred.

1m3 delivered and including vat @ £95.00
2m3 delivered and including vat @ £185.00
3m3 delivered and including vat @ £275.00

We also offer Kindling Sticks (for ease of fire starting) @ £4.00 per bag.

We will confirm your order via email or telephone. At this point a delivery time and date will be given (to suit both parties).

We accept Cheque or Cash (which can be collected when your logs are delivered)
